Join us for a special Guy Harvey Outpost Photo Academy hosted by professional photographer Ben Hicks, noted for his award-winning open water and surf images and photographer and author Mike Winkles.
Dive into the tips and techniques from Ben and Mike, industry leaders on how to shoot in the water compelling waves & surfing images. Get wet, with free use of demo cameras provided by Canon and housing units by Aquatech; or stay dry, shooting from the shoreline if preferred. Both Ben and Mike will offer individual instruction in shooting and editing to improve skills that build a lifetime of fun with photography.

Start with a meet and greet at our base camp before heading across the dunes to the beach. We’ll organize our gear and dive into one-on-one instruction with renowned photographers Ben Hicks and Mike, Winkles capturing stunning sunset shots and the surf. After the shoot, we’ll return for a classroom session where Ben and Mike will share invaluable tips on shooting in the field and editing techniques.
