At sunset in Sayulita, an Olive Ridley sea turtle was released by Sayulita Turtle Rescue as part of their ongoing sea turtle conservation program. Releasing turtles at dusk increases their chances of survival, as they instinctively move toward the ocean under low light, avoiding predators and human interference.
