Ben Hicks grew up camping throughout Western North Carolina. From riding mountain bike trails at age 15 to fly fishing and kayaking the rivers—from the Nantahala to the Davidson—his connection to the outdoors runs deep. His love for the mountains parallels his passion for being #BeOceanMinded and protecting our oceans. To Ben, the two are inseparably linked—just as he is connected to nature itself. Protecting our public lands and trails is just as vital as safeguarding our shorelines and oceans. A portion of the profits from the Western North Carolina collection supports these conservation efforts.
10% of all the Western North Carolina prints, postcards, stickers and merch sold to retailers and online will be donated to The Pisgah Conservancy who is the only nonprofit organization that is solely dedicated to supporting the Pisgah Ranger District of Pisgah National Forest.
