04 Jun Along the Coast: Bringing Ocean into Sharper Focus
I was recently honored to be featured in an article by Ron Hayes following a talk I gave at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic School in Delray Beach. I spoke with middle school students about ocean life, environmental threats, and how photography can inspire action to protect our planet.
The article shares how I went from borrowing my sister’s camera in college to traveling the world capturing sea turtles, sharks, manatees, and more, using those images to tell stories that spark environmental awareness. It also highlights the moments that have shaped my path, including missed shots, Emmy-winning documentaries, and the deep reason behind every photo I take.
